All classes are located at the Hugh Chatham Aquatic & Wellness Center, 700 Chatham Medical Park, Elkin. Call 336-527-7468 for more information.

Classes cost $4 each, or you can get a Class Pass for 10 classes for $33 without an expriration. All classes run for 60 minutes.

NOTE: We will be closed Tues. July 4.

Tabata

A class in which you will burn hundreds of calories in a short period of time!  Tabata is structured to do a particular exercise for 20 seconds, followed by a 10 second break. You repeat this pattern 8 times then move on to the next exercise.  It incorporates a total body workout, and will definitely leave you wanting more!

Cross Train

Functional training utilizing a variety of exercise types such as cardio, weights, plyometrics and others to work our biggest and functional muscle groups.  Workouts will be done for time to maximize intensity, but can be accomplished by any level of participant. CROSS Train is sure to get you FIT!

Tai Chi

This graceful form of low impact exercise is utilized for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions.  These gentle flowing movements are great for relaxation, flexibility, balance improvement and fall prevention!

Aqua Flex

A therapeutic, yoga-type class in our warm heated indoor pool!  This low impact class focuses on various stretching and flexibility exercises as well as exercises structured to improve balance.  Come take a load off, relax and enjoy this soothing class!

Muscle Sculpt

Aquatic Classes

Cost: $75 for Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes; $50 for Tuesday, Thursday classes; $25 for one session per week (HCMH employees and volunteers receive a 40% discount)

Duration: 50 minutes per session, eight-week series meeting either Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Tuesday and Thursday

All levels of classes are offered, from high energy cardio classes to regular aquatic exercise and therapeutic or rehabilitative classes
