Life Savers

Sign up now to learn life-saving skills for infants and children. Our certified instructors will train you in the basics of infant and child CPR and teach you valuable skills in child safety. Participation cards awarded when you complete the course. Classes are held on the second Thursday night of each month, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Our CPR instructors will work with your schedule if these times are not suitable for you.

Healthy Living with Diabetes

This free 90-minute class prepares you for what to expect when living with diabetes. Learn important skills like how to check your blood sugar and respond to high and low measurements. We'll also teach you how to plan and prepare healthy meals and provide you with grocery shopping tips and what you need to know about reading nutrition labels. Class is led by Lynn Clayton, RDN, LDN, CDE, outpatient dietitian/diabetes educator, and will be held in the Cardiac Classroom of the Heart & Lung Center at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital.

Heart and Soul Cancer Support Group

For anyone who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, meeting regularly with others who have been affected can offer loving, understanding support. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm at the hospital.
