Nutrition Services

The food and nutrition services department provides nutritional information and nutrition education to patients, employees, staff and community members.

Our registered dietitians help both inpatients and outpatients with services ranging from diabetes education to weight-loss management to cancer nutrition support. A registered dietitian is a health care professional who has completed a nutrition-related degree and passed a national board examination. Registered dietitians must also complete continuing education courses regularly to keep their registration current. A nutritionist is not required to complete a degree, a supervised experience, a national board or continuing education hours.
