At Hugh Chatham, our People naturally have empathy for, and are dedicated to serving others. Our caring nature is simply part of who we are, and why we’ve chosen to work in healthcare. When unforeseen challenges present, this passion never wavers; we are steadfast in supporting each other. Ivan Brunetti, an Italian cartoonist, said “Our dedication-devotion-to craft should enlighten as it humbles us.” A prime example of this spirit is exemplified by two of our night shift Certified Nursing Assistants, who also happen to be at the center of this week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight. Their diligence and hard work is apparent, along with the warm energy and compassion they naturally exude.. This week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight recognizes Cathy and Kenny Mabe — two team members who truly love what they do!
Mary Blackburn, Chief Clinical Officer and VP of Care Innovation shared, “They both are amazing CNAs who provide care on the second floor at night. They have a passion for patients, and demonstrate that through their compassionate, attentive care. We are very fortunate to have Cathy and Kenny as part of our nursing team!”
Brianna Hiatt, RN on the second floor, described Cathy and Kenny by saying, “They are two of the hardest working CNAs I have ever worked with and I have worked for a long time.”
Thank you, Cathy and Kenny, for all that you do for our patients and community. We are very blessed to have you as a part of our Hugh Chatham family!
