Simon Sinek, British-American author and motivational speaker, said “A team is not a group of people who work together. A team is a group of people who trust each other.” Teamwork is a core value at Hugh Chatham and we see it every day. No matter the department, shift, or circumstances, we work with and rely upon each other as we provide exceptional care to the community. This week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight focuses on someone who is a trust-builder, and deeply appreciated by his co-workers — Staff Accountant, Phillip Spicer.
Cheryl Pardue, Controller said, “Phillip is a caring and compassionate person. He is always willing to go above and beyond for fellow employees and friends. He is also a team player and always willing to help others in the organization. Phillip strives to do the best job he can every day.” Another colleague, Kayla Wagoner, Assistant Controller, said “Phillip is a man of integrity. He is honest, true, noble, trustworthy, kind and has strong moral principles. I could not ask for a better friend or co-worker in Phillip!” Tina Couch, Accounts Payable, continues by saying “Phillip is always willing to help others. He will go above and beyond to help and always with a friendly smile. He is an invaluable member of the Hugh Chatham family.”
Thank you, Phillip, for your diligence, compassion, and integrity. It is clear that your team knows they can depend on you, and that you care. It is an honor to recognize your devotion to the accounting team and to the entire Hugh Chatham family.
