Well-known English novelist, Charles Dickens, said “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” Service is one of the core values at Hugh Chatham. This week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight focuses on a team member who demonstrates service daily by using his natural abilities to help the entire Hugh Chatham team, no matter the task or location. Join me in celebrating Plant Operations team member, Mike Parlier.
Brent Slate, Director of Plant Operations, said “Mike is always willing to help when asked and available wherever he is needed each day. Not only does he oversee remodeling needs for the hospital and practices, he is always involved with special events happening around the hospital. Mike has helped several years with the golf tournament, wine auction, hospital week and all other special events taking place. Mike always performs his work with a friendly smile and a great attitude making everyone’s day better.”
Vickie Caudill, Director of Materials Management, continues by saying “Mike is a phenomenal person who loves this facility and the community. He is always willing to help no matter what the task. I don’t believe the word no is in his vocabulary. He is a vital part of our organization and a perfect example of the Hugh Chatham Way.”
Thank you, Mike, for supporting us all in so many ways. We could not do what we do without you. Your smile and positive attitude never waiver, and we are lucky to have you as part of the Hugh Chatham family.
