Every day our team members ensure exceptional care and service for each and every patient who walks through our doors. Some of our People work behind the scenes, supporting others so that Hugh Chatham is prepared to tackle any challenge with confidence. This week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight focuses on a team member who goes above and beyond for our medical staff, securing the safest environment and BEST results for our patients. Her accountability and willingness to serve is always paired with a warm, bubbly attitude and an undeniable need to help others. Join me in congratulating Larkin Bell, Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist.
Larkin truly defines the word specialist. She is meticulous with her work and is passionate about educating others on the importance of credentialing. Whether its supporting a provider’s needs or assisting the administrative team, the job will be executed at the highest level and delivered with a smile. She dots her I’s and crosses your T’s, with one goal in mind – delivering safe, quality care.
Laura Oakes, Director of Market Development, Integration, and Recruitment said, “Not many people understand the importance or complexity of Larkin’s role. Her job ensures that the providers we are bringing into the organization have been thoroughly vetted and will provide the highest level of care to our patients. We currently have 285 providers credentialed on our medical staff and Larkin interacts with each and every one. Her role requires great attention to detail, something that she is exceptional at. While her position is one that is demanding, she always has a smile on her face. She is a true example of the Hugh Chatham Way!”
We attribute the success of Hugh Chatham to those who embody these characteristics and our core values of Service, Teamwork, Accountability, Respect, and Safe Care (STARS) freely and naturally. Larkin is a professional who triple checks her work and values our organization above all else. Thank you, Larkin, for being an invaluable resource and for partnering with Hugh Chatham in providing exceptional care.
