The Irish Poet, W.B Yeats once said, “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” We’ve all heard the saying that “knowledge is power” and I feel sure that most of us prefer being in a position of strength – knowing what to do, how to do it, and growing through each experience. We are blessed to have an exceptionally capable team that is ready for any challenge and constantly seeks new and better approaches. And while it takes a team, we should always appreciate each individual’s natural ability, unique perspective, and overall contributions. This week’s Hugh Chatham Way Highlight celebrates a 3rd floor team member with a true passion for excellence — Holly Sell, LPN.
Melissa Bryant, Clinical Nurse Manager of the 3rd Floor, offers that “Holly is a wonderful nurse. She ensures that her patients receive excellent care. She is a great asset to our team and currently pursuing her goal to become a registered nurse.” Kendra Park, Assistant Nurse Manager, shares that “Holly is a great nurse who always puts her patients first. She is very observant of each patient’s situation and knows how to properly care for them. She is a true patient advocate!!”
Thank you, Holly, for your obvious commitment to both personal and professional growth, and for choosing to share your passion for excellence right here at Hugh Chatham. We are a stronger, as a result.
