On Aug. 21, Hugh Chatham officially welcomed OB/GYN physician, Kristen Stille, MD, to Hugh Chatham Health Medical Group. Dr. Stille brings a wealth of experience and skill to the medical group and will serve patients at Hugh Chatham Health — Women’s Center in Elkin.
Dr. Kristen “Kacy” Stille served as an officer in the Air Force after attending the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Stille completed her doctorate degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wake Forest Baptist University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. From 2013 to 2016, Dr. Stille served as Medical Director of Women’s Health and OB/GYN Staff at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, providing full-spectrum OB/GYN care to active duty, veteran and dependent patients. Since August 2016, Dr. Stille has served as a Senior OB/GYN Physician at the Southcentral Foundation in Anchorage, providing labor and delivery and surgical services at Alaska Native Medical Center.
Dr. Stille has over 16 years of clinical experience, providing full scope OB/GYN care in a variety of settings. Her clinical interests include evidence-based medicine, women’s health, and laparoscopic procedures. Her personal interests include spending time with her husband and three kids, running, fishing, hiking, skiing and cooking.
