This course prepares you to perform high-quality CPR skills. This class includes Adult CPR, Child CPR, and Infant CPR. You will be tested on hands-on interactive demonstrations and a written test.
BLS/CPR CLASS REGISTRATION:
This course is designed for healthcare providers who manage respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This course includes BLS competency testing, skills stations, case scenario discussions and simulations, case scenario testing stations and a written exam.
FULL PALS CLASS REGISTRATION:
RENEWAL PALS CLASS REGISTRATION:
This course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. You will participate in simulated cases, and enhance your skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndrome. This course includes BLS competency testing, skills stations, case scenario discussions and simulations, case scenario testing, and a written exam.
FULL ACLS CLASS REGISTRATION:
ACLS CLASS RENEWAL REGISTRATION:
This course is to instruct on stroke facts and rationale for urgent care, focused neurological assessment, major stroke symptoms and stroke mimics, stroke management: prehospital and general principles, and emergency department and inpatient care. Practice sessions will look at normal patients and stroke syndromes. This class includes lectures, practice sessions and videos.
The purpose of this class is to identify basic atrial, ventricular, and junctional rhythms, and heart blocks. There is a written test at the end of the class.
Important TIME SENSITIVE NRP Update
NRP Advanced Curriculum should be completed online in the new 8th edition platform-“nrplearningplatform.com” within 90 days before and you must register for Instructor evaluation class NO LATER THAN 1 day prior to preferred date of class you wish to attend.
NRP is changing. The 7th edition format became obsolete as of December 31, 2021. The Academy of Pediatrics is now partnering with a company named RQI, Resuscitation Quality Improvement Partners for the new 8th edition that was published in July of 2021.
EVERYONE WHO IS PLANNING ON RENEWING/INITIALLY CREDENTIALING JANUARY 2022 OR LATER MUST GET REGISTERED ON THE NEW 8TH EDITION LMS AND TAKE CONTENT THERE.
